Seeing G-d’s Hand in my Life
The Passover holiday is about seeing G-d’s hand in our lives. Feeling as if we are being hand-held as we are brought from our own personal form of bondage (addiction, compelling thinking, limiting beliefs, difficult circumstances, ego) to redemption (freedom from our enslaved minds and our egos).
What I find fascinating though, is that the only was we can experience this Divine gift of seeing and feeling G-d’s hand in this process is from within us.
What do I mean?
I mean it doesn’t matter what G-d does (no, I’m not a heretic). I can only experience what G-d does via my thinking about Him or what I believe He does (or doesn’t do). He could be running my whole life, but if I don’t believe that (another form of thought), then I won’t feel it, even if it’s the truth.
So my seeing or feeling G-d in my life is not about the circumstances I find myself in. It’s about the state of mind I find myself in as I live life via my circumstances.
This Passover I pray that G-d bless us with insights to awaken our sleeping souls to see His hand in every aspect of our lives with no exceptions. May we be psychologically free to touch the truth and feel His love this holiday.
