The Light at the End of the Tunnel
A client gave me a postcard which is appropo for this time of year:
The light at the end of the tunnel is not an illusion. The tunnel is.
All of the darkness that we feel trampled by, stifled by, pained by is the tunnel. All of our self-limiting beliefs, “I can’t” beliefs, the constructs we’ve made up about ourselves and live by day to day are more of the same tunnel.
The good news is that the tunnel is a thought-created experience, an illusion, not the truth.
Darkness itself is not a problem. We don’t even feel the darkness. It’s all the thinking we have about the darkness and what we make it mean in our lives that we feel.
The only truth is the light. The light of the soul. The light of G-d Himself. In the depths of our soul lies the answers we need to break out of any darkness. Listen for the light. It comes with a feeling as our mind expands in consciousness.
